What sets us apart for Ventura customers
- 4.9-star rating across 73 Google reviews.
- Storm-safety judgment. After a storm left moisture inside a Ventura exterior electrical box, we waited for a safe inspection before re-energizing it, rather than restoring power right away.
- Backup power planning done properly. When a Ventura customer wanted essential loads on backup, we made sure the selected circuits actually matched what the portable unit could handle, not just what they hoped it could.
- Coverage across eight Ventura County coastal cities from one office.
The steps behind every Ventura job
A lot of Ventura calls follow storms or coastal weather, and our first question is usually whether it’s safe to re-energize anything yet. After one storm, we found moisture still inside an exterior box and held off on restoring power until it was safe to do so, rather than flipping the breaker back on right away. For backup power planning, we check what a portable generator can actually carry before assigning circuits to it, so customers aren’t caught out during the next outage.

What our technicians want Ventura homeowners to know
“Moisture remained inside the exterior box after the storm, so we waited for a safe inspection before re-energizing it.”
“Ventura’s rain guidance reminds residents to plan for outages and avoid wet electrical equipment; show us any low or exposed installations.”
Ventura customers on working with us
“A city housing authority audit found 19 of our 28 apartment units lacked hardwired interconnected smoke detectors—triggering a correction order with a per-unit-per-day civil penalty deadline. The electrician coordinated tenant access across all 28 units over four weekends, hardwired combination smoke and CO detectors at every required location, and our compliance officer closed the correction order 11 days before the penalty start date.”

“We had hired a landscaping company to install low voltage path lighting in our front yard, however, when they powered up the transformer the lights on the far zones of the front yard appeared not to be high enough and were much lower in lumens compared to those closer to the transformer, which was a typical voltage drop issue caused by too small a wire gauge from the transformer to the far zones and was something the landscaping company could not overcome. The electrician re-determined wire size for each individual zone run, and upgraded the undersized 18-gauge wire in each of 2 longer runs to 12-gauge low-voltage wire, and all fixtures are now equally bright between the front door and the property’s boundaries.”

“In that square footage of space, which was only using one 20 amp circuit for the whole building, we needed to install a server room, 2 network racks, two electric cabinets, and a VoIP network with 2 servers. The commercial electrician designed and installed a complete layout for the power distribution. He added eight 20 amp circuits, added two isolated ground circuits, installed a whole floor surge protective device at the power distribution, and ran all the conductors through EMT conduit for mechanical protection through an open ceiling. We have load-tested each circuit prior to moving any equipment and the city electrical inspector has approved the new space after NO corrections; and our IT side is fully functional and peacefully operating for our first year in the new space with no single power related fault.”

A few jobs from around Ventura
Checking a Ventura rain-exposed outlet
A resident near a drainage route needed help because an outdoor point went dead after storms. Investigation found the enclosure held moisture; the affected parts and seal were replaced. In the finished arrangement, the circuit passed checks once dry.
Planning Ventura essential loads
They wanted a refrigerator and communications gear on backup. Assessment found that other loads exceeded the portable unit’s intended capacity; selected circuits were connected through safe transfer equipment. After testing, a test supported the planned essentials.
Lighting a Ventura harbor workroom
Fine work was difficult under broad overhead lights at a boat-maintenance business. A check showed that the bench needed illumination without reflections; the work followed: adjustable task fittings were installed. Following verification, workers could inspect parts clearly.
